    This year, PYD is working with three partner schools and community partners to implement Expanded Learning Time. These schools want to rethink the school day in order to give kids more time to learn through hands-on activities, arts enrichment and project-based learning. Through a grant from our partners at The Afterschool Corporation, New Orleans was chosen as one of only three cities taking part in a national demonstration of just how effective expanded learning can be for kids.
