Sean Tate, Afterschool Zone Manager

Sean Tate joins the Partnership for Youth Development as Program Manager for the CP3 Afterschool Zone. Prior to joining the Partnership, Sean spent three years as a Program Coordinator for Playworks New Orleans and as a Camp Director for the Jefferson Parish Recreation Department. Through these roles and his new role in the Afterschool Zone, Sean aims to provide New Orleans youth with safe and healthy opportunities to have fun and gain positive experiences through games, sport, and other enriching activities.
Sean is a lifelong New Orleanian and has been working with local youth through coaching and summer programs for over ten years. Sean is a graduate of Tulane University in New Orleans, with a B.A. in Psychology and English and is currently working on a M.S. of Counseling from Loyola University New Orleans.
